Facial & Body hair

Facial hair growth in both men and women is primarily influenced by hormones, particularly androgens.

Excessive facial hair growth in women (hirsutism) can be caused by a hormonal imbalance such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), or by certain medications or may be genetic. For women with hirsutism, laser hair removal (or laser hair bleaching) can be a solution to control excessive facial hair growth..

Body hair can be a cosmetic concern for many people. There are several options for temporarily removing hairs, like shaving, waxing, depilatory creams or laser hair bleaching.

Laser hair removal is used to remove undesired hairs more permanently, whether for cosmetic reason or to reduce the formation of ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs are often linked to friction, shaving and waxing and are frequent in bikini or lower legs. To avoid cysts formation, infections and scarring, we recommend laser hair removal to treat ingrown hairs.
Some areas, like bikini, arm pits or lower legs, respond very well to laser hair removal and in 6 to 8 sessions on average, we permanently get rid of hairs. Other areas are more challenging, due to hormonal stimulation of hair growth, and may need maintenance sessions.
