Dr. Jeroen Darcis obtained his degree in Medicine at the KU Leuven with great distinction. He completed his training as a dermatologist at the UZ Leuven under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Garmyn and at the Zuyderland Hospital in Heerlen (the Netherlands).

In July 2019 he obtained his recognition as a Doctor-Specialist in Dermatology and Venereology, as well as the degree of ‘Master after Master in Dermatology and Venereology’.

He is a member of the Belgian professional association for Dermatology and Venereology and of ‘The European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology’. 

In addition to general Dermatology, Dr. Darcis specializes in Dermatosurgery, for which he has followed several training courses, including in Chicago in the United States. He is currently completing a fellowship in Moh’s micrographic surgery at the UZ Leuven.

Dr Darcis speaks fluently Dutch, English, French and basic Spanish.
